We are thrilled to officially announce CentOS Connect 2026! Join us January 29-30 for two days of in-depth discussion, hands-on learning, and networking focused on CentOS Stream, Special Interest Groups (SIGs), and the wider Enterprise Linux ecosystem.

CentOS Connect is the premier contributor conference for the CentOS Project, and we can’t wait to welcome our community—both new and familiar faces—to Belgium once again as part of the exciting FOSDEM Fringe.

What to Expect

CentOS Connect is where the community comes together to define the future of the platform. This year, we're planning a full program including:

  • Presentations: Short, focused 25-minute talks covering new developments in CentOS Stream, innovations in upstream projects, and updates from the various SIGs. We'll also have a few longer 40-minute slots for deep dives.
  • Meetups: Returning for 2026, we'll host dedicated 2-hour meetups on Thursday morning. These are perfect for SIGs and project initiatives to meet, discuss goals, and collaborate in a dedicated setting.
  • Networking: Connect with fellow contributors, maintainers, and users from across the Enterprise Linux world. This time, we'll have a dedicated room for an even larger hallway track.

Call for Presentations is NOW OPEN!

Do you have an exciting project, an innovative use case, or a technical deep-dive related to the CentOS ecosystem? We want to hear from you!

We’re looking for proposals on topics such as:

  • New developments or infrastructure for CentOS Stream
  • Interesting developments in upstream projects
  • Updates and innovations happening in our Special Interest Groups (SIGs)
  • CentOS as a development platform for applications and derivatives

The deadline to submit your proposal is December 16. Don't miss your chance to take the stage at this leading open source event!

Registration is Open! (It's Free!)

CentOS Connect is a free event, but we strongly encourage everyone to register. Your registration helps us ensure we have enough space and catering for everyone, including lunch on both days.

For those who can't make it to Brussels, we will also be live-streaming the event and making every effort to include online participants.
